First Posip experience! Pale straw-yellow in the glass, emerging green. Fresh nose showcasing green apples, elderberries, gooseberries. Palate, medium-bodied, is a bit too dry for my taste, almost raspy, spicy and flavours as per nose, good, rich but somewhat edgy mouthfeel. Brief, bitter finish. Not particularly interesting.

Popped and poured at fridge temp. This is quite a fresh, crisp Pošip, with green apple, a tiny hint of nuttiness, and some minerality on the nose. The palate is also fresh, showing that Korčula salty tang, tart peach, and a tiny hint of sherry. I’m wondering whether this is starting to show a bit of decline with that touch of sherry. Don’t wait too long with the last bottle!

A herbal and stony nose with subtle white flowers. Steely and fresh on the palate, clean and focused with lemon and pear mostly. Good mid palate density yet light. There is a softness but not to meant as fatness to the relatively broad yet light palate presence. Limestone. Chalky. Elegant. Serious wine graceful. Lovely. Oddly it reminded me a little bit of Hubert Lamy's "Princee". One of the best wines I tried during my trip.
