Decanted 2 hours and paired with a garlic, herb, pepper crusted ribeye and it was wonderful. Earthy, with notes of clove, vanilla, and blackberry on the nose and black licorice, leather, and meaty on the palette. Probably at its peak now so if you have it, open it!

Color, clear red with copper hue; 1st nose, musty; 2nd nose, earth and hibiscus notes. On the palate, medium body with good balance of acidity and fruits. Medium to long finish.

Light body, earthy, cumin, nutty, light in tannins, opaque, average viscosity, needs 2 hours to breathe, oaky and dry at the start and sweeter with the finish

Pop and pour, drank over 2 hours. This wine was surprisingly green. I'll blame myself for opening it too soon based on the CT notes. It was an acceptable pairing with porterhouse steaks, but I'd rather drink this wine in 5 years. Not scored.

Forest floor, mushroom, cassis, raspberry, and blueberries. Medium plus tannins and a medium finish. Good for the price point.
