Decanted. Now 1.5h after decant. Pale good color. Nice aromas of just ripe apples, minerals and a hint of seaweed. Palate w barely ripe apples Meyer lemons, lovely minerals, and a hint of herbs and sat. Excellent acids despite the warm vintage. Med+ body. Somewhat simple finish w medium length and just a bit odld heat at the end. Nice value for <$20 and really went well w a caprese prosciutto sandwich.

Reticent nose, hint of lime. Full mouthfeel, primarily citrus, mild finish, pleasant, however I did not see ripe fruit or strong minerality. Softer, savory elements predominate. Ei liked.

Chardonnay from Loire Valley. This is a nice summer time quaffer. A lighter, prettier style Chardonnay with ripe fruit, decent acidity and I"m guessing no oak. What is different from this and say a typical easy drinking St Veran is a mineral backbone in this wine. Nothing earth shattering, but a pleasant wine to sip on and have with lighter fare. For <$20, seems like a decent QPR.
