Didn't buy, but will if I can find it in the $20 range. Nice, freshly sliced apple notes, not very complex, good acidity. Nice and refreshing, beats the Gruet at a similar price point (Gruet bruised apple vs Jaillance fresh sliced apple).

Straw color in the glass, clear looking throughout with tiny, steady beading. Nose of apricot, yellow pears and a bit of herbs. Flavors of quince, lemon and yellow pear. Bright acidity, full bodied. Drink now.

Paired with chicken schnitzel, green salad with anchovy lemon vinaigrette, sugar snaps peas & cheese bread. Well balanced, relatively uncomplicated, but very food friendly. Lovely, creamy bubbles. Great value in a sparkling wine.

Fresh and balanced wine of great charm. Very light color and not showing any age after several years of having it in the cellar.

Mainly semillon but mixed with cab franc. Very minerally, tangerine jelly belly, yeast, Macintosh apple. Stupid good for $15 retail.
