3/23, 24, & 27, 2023–sealed with a Vacuvin and refrigerated between tastings
Beautifully perfumed, reminding me of apples and pears dipped in honey, mango, lemon curd and vanilla. Quite fresh and flavorful with a long stony finish.
I made a chicken pot pie with leftover pie crust dough. It was a magical pairing with this wine. The food brought out the fruit in the wine and the wine accentuated the herbs and savoriness of the food.
Between the first and last tasting my notes were the same. Delicious now, but no rush based on this bottle.
