  Wow, a top class Syrah/Shiraz from Lazio! Deep black red colour with an intensive purple rim. A lot of black berries in the nose and at the palate, tremendous concentration and substance. Blueberries and Blackberries in the mouth and strong but soft tannins, followed by a beautiful sweetness made out of cherry compote, chocolate and vanilla - and a Syrah-spiced finish with a small liquorice elegant note (100 % new French barriques). Fine fruit and mild acidity make the wine warm and pleasant. Good aging potential for many years, but already now very enjoyable to drink (allow 2-3 hours oxygenation to the wine). If you want more elegance wait 2-3 years. Drink 2020-2035
  
  Wow, ein Spitzen-Syrah aus Latium! Tiefes schwarz-rot mit kräftigem Purpurrand, enorme Dichte und Stoffigkeit, viel schwarze Beeren in der Nase und am Gaumen, Blaubeeren und Brombeeren, kräftige, aber weiche Tannine, dann ein schöne Süße aus Kirsch-Kompott, Schoko und Vanille, im Abgang leichte Würze mit Lakritze-Noten (hier sind die 100% edlen Barriques zu spüren, die der Wein aber gut integriert), feine Frucht, milde Säure, gutes Reifepotential über viele Jahre, jetzt schon gut und höchst angenehm trinkbar (wenn möglich, 2-3 Std vorher lüften), wer noch mehr Eleganz will, wartet noch 2-3 Jahre; Trinken 2020-2035.
