Initially savoury with quince pear fruit developing cream on the mid-palate through to nuts on a sweet finish. It has complexity and length and despite the relatively high abv retains balance throughout. A fine wine. CHP 91 pts

Lovely wine - a real fruit salad on the palate, quite flowery on the nose with only a hint of the barrel fermentation. Is this the best SA Chenin Blanc? Arguably although Ken Forrester and even David Niuewoudt might have something to say about that. Serve only lightly chilled.

Well, not corked !! This was a very good full-bodied orange peel wine which was great with Chinese food. Drinking well now but could last a few more years yet.

Drank this past weekend at Copake. Nice enough CB from SA. Nose shows honey, typical of this grape. Pretty deep gold color. Lots of pear and stone fruit on the palate, solid acidic core. Acidity level somewhat masked the viscosity level here. Nice enough but I'm a Loire CB guy at heart.

Another fine bottle. Dry but almost off. Lovely fruit salad with significant depth and finesse. Yet again a great partner to Chinese food.
