  Interesting wine. The first taste sensation is salinity--something I occasionally find in Syrahs. Then, I get a nice hint of dark berry--something I usually find in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, but this is only a suggestion not shouted in all caps. Maybe some unsweetened prune. Good tannin--noticeable, but not obtrusive. Good body. Interesting "meaty" retro-nasal sensation. Good wine.
