Pulled this at the last minute as the crowd that had gathered at my home seemed to want to keep drinking after dinner. No formal notes, but I think that BadMonkey sums up the profile pretty well. Again, one of the better Becklyn Napa cabs I have had in recent years, and, in retrospect, a good buy for the money. It is drinking well in this moment with no hard edges or bitterness. I stopped buying this brand after 19, since I felt little distinguished it from other Mike Smith wines I buy
Took this to a restaurant with family, so it was just a pop and pour. As others have noted, this needs a lot of air that I wasn't able to give it. It's very tight and primary, but definitely has a lot of upside. Need to stay away from my other two bottles of this vintage for a while.

This is drinking quite well in the moment, with about an hour of air, but it did improve over another two. Deep black and blue fruits, plums, currants, black raspberries. Well balanced, lengthy mid palate and finish. Bakers chocolate, mushrooms and tobacco leaf on the finish. On of the better Becklyn Napa cab experiences I have had. Did not have any of the cloying, medicinal sweetness of earlier bottles. Alcohol was in check. It is fascinating to read how different other tasters experiences have been. This was my fourth of this wine, and by far the best I do not recall the vineyard sources here

Very pleasing Aroma. Opened within 20 minutes to a nice soft, full body, Moderately tannic smoothie. Should be good for many more years.

Not sure what happened with this bottle but not as good as I had hoped for. Drank this beside the 2017 Quivet Kenifick Cab so maybe that impacted it.
