  • Apple, lots of apple. Very good acidity. What it lacks in complexity is made up by how refreshing and crisp it is. Reminded me of good BdB Champagnes from Avize or le Mesnil, without the bubbles, of course.

  • A rather dense Aligoté from vines which were planted 1929. The body is quite strong. I assume it had some contact with oak. Typical for Aligoté is its fresh and strong acid which makes it a perfect refreshing summerwine. Its very strong lemon and nut aromas are also typical for Aligoté. I like this wine, although it is nothing extraordinary or complex. Surely one of the best Aligoté wines I've ever tried, which is not too suprising, because in my opinion Domaine Mikulski is one of the best white Beaune producers. Especially recommendable for its Meursault wines.
