    100% Carignan

One the first night the wine took awhile to show its aromatics. After 30 minutes of aeration it displayed aromas of black fruits like black raspberry and plum, then garrigue… On the palate, the wine was dry, but flavors of sweet, ripe fruit dominated, followed by the garrigue and then blood orange. The tannins snuck up on me with a tingling sensation along the gumline. After being sealed with a vacuuvin and refrigerated, the second tasting followed about 6 days later. The wine was open and inviting with no signs of decline.

Well-made, delicious and very good qpr.
