  A beautiful wine. Truly. But there was something about it I didn’t love. That’s not to say it was bad, it just wasn’t to my taste. Plum vibes. The rest of it — the fruit, the black tea, the savory finish — all worked. It just never quite sung. I have another bottle which I am going to wait on.

  Medium red garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruits aromas of cherries, blueberries & dark plums with overtones of spice notes, earthy/dusty & some floral notes, herbs, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & plums with spice notes, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering silky-smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the capacity for further development with additional aging.

  Expressive dark cherry fruit perfectly in balanced with hints of spice and lavender on the finish. After 15 minutes in the glass, it becomes silky, super smooth on the palate. One of the best KB Pinot’s I have had in the past year.
