  From a case purchased on release and stored undisturbed in a cool classic cellar. Mature garnet with brick rim but still has excellent depth of colour. Bouquet retains amazing sweet ripeness of fruit, but clearly now mature and a touch musty, however seems remarkably good for its age. Palate also has lovely weight of fruit with fresh acidity that is on the brisk side and slightly rustic tannins that are fair enough given the appellation. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable glass of wine for those who enjoy slightly gamey mature Burgundy.
