13% "Sulfite Free Wine" which is ironic because there is a definite burnt meat reduction which of course could also be subtle brett. but the fruit is candied and somewhat artificial. which is inappropriate given the lees effect on the finish which gives it a somewhat offputting fishy finish. conclusion, the bidy and alcohol are generous, its viscous for where it comes from and fullbodied but the tannins on the finish are drying and the parts dont quite forma cohesive experience. the astute taster will be confused.

Rubis intense.

Like the 2016 (I seem to have missed the 2017), this wine is absolutely delightful at about 12 months old. It is bright, fruity (red berry mostly), mineral with touches of meat and spice, caressing texture, juicy moreish acidity and enough grip on the finish. I thought that the 2016 had lost lustre about 6 months further on and hope that this one will delight for a bit longer. However, I am unlikely to leave the bottles alone long enough to find out! Very good.

Still delightful but first signs of coarsening on the nose.
