Fairly translucent red. Spice, forest, and strawberry pie nose. Medium bodied, raspberries, hot peppers, dusty cherries, sage, fully integrated tannins, and a medium long, pleasantly sappy finish. Very nice, but time to drink up.

wasn't sure what red wine to pair with thai butternut squash tofu stew, so we went with this Granacha. it's a good Granacha...a stand alone, even. Good spice... light. we had it also with a tomato, basil, vegan cheese, peach and balsamic vinegar appetizer. i thought the wine really pulled out the peach and balsam. yum!

At the time that we purchased this at the winery, more than a year ago, I had earmarked this for pot roast, or possibly ham. I wound up serving this with some bourbon-accented sloppy joes and roasted potatoes, and it worked really well. The sweetness of the joe mix complemented the mildly-fruity nature of this Spanish-tradition Grenache.
