  • Juicy Peach & Melon with touch of Oak/Butter. Smooth balance with Med finish - More Peach with Honey on a velvet finish. Complex & elegant that is a perfect partner for any shellfish.

  • Nice Pouilly-Fuisse. Fresh picked apples, honey dew and tangerine on the nose. Bright acidity with slight sweet notes of pineapple and Anjou pear on the palate. If I would taste it blind I'd thought it was California chardonnay from ripe vintage. Sometimes I think that Cali. vintners are trying to make burgundy and French are striving for new world chardonnay. Overall good wine. Recommend.

  • This is medium+ bodied and not quite bone dry but free enough from sugar to avoid disobliging comments from across the table. There is plenty of white fruit, some citrus, perhaps less minerals than in other vintages but more round and burnished undertow with decently fresh acidity and backbone. Still quite young and may develop with a few more months of ageing. I may buy more bottles but not particularly good QPR at c.€15. Good.
