  • Simple taste of plum. Some forest floor and mild tannin. Quick finish. Everyday Bordeaux with little complexity. Tasted at Union Club NYC.

  • Not a bad wine, bought for $12.99...I would say more mineral and vegetables than fruit on the nose and palate. Very mild tannins. I think for the money it's a good value 2005 Bordeaux that is good to drink now...but I honestly don't think it would do much with age...so no need to pick up a case to future.

  • Some animal funk and mild dark fruit on the nose. Leans towards savory, earthy flavors rather than fruit on the palate. Rather tannic at the end. I would have to see how this shows with food to fully evaluate it. It's a bit overly rustic on its own.

  • I bought this wine for $6 on sale. "90 points! Are you kidding?" - you might say. Well, no kidding, this is a RIDICULOUS bargain for under $10 in lots of places. Really, really nice grip and tanins. Delicious and pure with a nice long finish. I mean, for the money this makes a complete joke of 98% of Bordeaux reds in the $15 - $50 price range. I am sure the 2005 vintage is the main reason it is so good, but what the hell! Pick up as much as you can!
