  • Tasted with Lucy and Sievenpiper. Light gold, with clear legs. Figs, honey, grass, peach and citrus on the nose. This wine is a sweeter wine with caramel, pears and a slightly tart finish. This is my second tasting note on this wine … I think it would be great to drink outside with a salad containing citrus.

  • Golden in color with a few light, clear legs. Light citrus, pear, pineapple and flowers underlie a slightly acidic nose. Not thin on the tongue. Slightly sweet caramel, green apple, citrus and a mildly tart acid (remember those sweet tart candies) ... maybe even some grass. This is a very nice wine, particularly for the summer. I will definitely drink some more. Lucy wants to score in the low 90’s [she likes Gewürztraminer’s a bit sweeter than me], but I would say 87-89. If you told me this was twice the price and from Alsace, I would believe you.

  • Tasted at the cellar door. Sweet, perfumed nose, full of tropical fruit. Reminiscent of the syrup in a can of preserved lychee. Light on the palate, with good acid justbordering on the astringent. Simple and short on the finish, but a pretty yummy drink.
