  • Saw this was rated 91 in Wine and Spirits Magazine and in Connoisseurs' Guide. Tasted a year ago. Got it at local wine shop, Heritage Wine Company for $10, bought 8 bottles. Nice Aromas of Lemon, lime, grass, melons with a nice hint of Herbs. Almost Fullbodied with a creamy texture, palate is concentrated in flavors of citrus, lemons, grass, melons and a sprig of Thyme, with a clean and crisp very long finish. Oh yeah I agree with the ratings! A great QPR at $10, and Connoisseurs' Guide rated a Honig SB only an 83 so CG can be tough on scores. This is similar in style to Cliff Lede SB! Paired this with Chicken with a Dr Pepper reduction/Serrano BBQ sauce, and this stood up quite well to the Heat, in fact the lemon flavors and acidity calmed the spices quite a bit.

  • Yummy, medium-bodied sauvignon blanc has rich aromas of melon, fig, and hay. Flavors of melon, citrus, and cream round out the midpalate, while the finish remains crisp and lively. Very nicely done. Organic grapes.
