Once a little-known but very respected domain, this has somewhat fallen into disrepute in recent years. Anyway, the 2009 tastes very much like its former glories - deep, powerful, with typical Listrac leather and grip. Not the OTT fruit and low acid one finds elsewhere, this is well-balanced and really quite traditional. The only problem is that the finish is a bit rustic and clumsy - but for 5€ a bottle, no cause for complaint. It should improve further.
