Took about 2 hours to blossom. Mineral, hazelnut, rich without being clumsy. Nice wine. The problem was we drank it side by side with a 1975 which was more lean, focused and mineral driven with better acidity. If served by itself I would have been singing it’s praises.

Very nice Chablis which is completely evolved and perhaps past it's prime. Opened late during a dinner and did not give it enough air. Some flavors of stone, apricot, and flint. A very rounded wine that perhaps lacks a little acidity and grip. I have 2 bottle left and I will definitely give it more time in a decanter next time.
