Dark and inky appearance Blackberry, blueberry, pipe tobacco and a hint of eucalyptus on the nose. Medium acidity, sharp tannins and full body. Decanted for an hour but needed more time to open as it was overtly tannicc on the palate More subdued fruit versus clove and black pepper notes with sharp to softening tannins. This Petit Sirah held up well to a pork tenderloin with roast pepper sauce Strong food pairings and more time in the bottle required here!

Decanted 1 Hour. Rich pronounced pure inky purple color w/strong fluid legs. Rich pungent juniper berry & light spice nose. Rich flavor of ripe plums & berries w/slightly full tannin finish. Of Note: As the wine opened more the tannin's balanced out. A diverse wine as it paired well w/Brie & Pear appetizer & Grilled Rib eye & Fennel entree. And of significant importance, my wife loved this wine.
