Not as expressive aromatically as the Gevrey but equally refined on the palate; like the Gevrey, the fruit on the attack is rich in flavor but light in weight but here the fruit is blacker and more focused. It's not one of those wines that expands in breadth when you taste it, but rather it packs everything into one channel as though it were sipped through a straw (figuratively).
