  Drank this with Easter dinner, some garlic and herb crusted roast leg of lamb. Even after an hour plus decant, I found this unapproachable. It was almost bitter the tannins were so forward. It finally started to come around about 2 hours later as I was finishing the bottle. I think there are some good things here, but it needs time to integrate and soften up. I plan on giving this at least 3 more years before trying my other bottle.
  The 90 is a walk between what I think the wine can be and where it is today (rating today I would say 88) - I would guess it finishes somewhere in the 92 range.

  Margot's bottle. Don't usually give scores but need to deflate the previous 98 point review, so...this is very good, but nowhere close to 98 pts epic. Medium-plus bodied, bright and juicy, lots of charming red fruit, great nose with a scent of violets. Closer to fun than super serious but it's serious fun, no doubt. Does not, however, have the structure for 12 more years as someone has indicated. I'd go with 2025, and see from there.

  Brilliant. Drank as a pop n pour over a couple of hours. Classic big dusty red mountain fruit. So smooth and balanced now. Will only get better. But actually amazing now.
