Now everything is fully integrated compared to my previous tasting note. No separate edges, fully smooth. Very enjoyable and a delight to drink. 91 plus. No signs of falling over even at 10 years.

Still in the prime of life with good charcoal, fruit intensity, puckering tannins and an acid backbone. Cries out for steak. A riper merlot with almost some cabernet tinges to it (herbaceous, green leafy, cigar box) although a straight varietal according to the label). At 8 years it must have at least another 4 to go. Great QPR at $20/bt AUD for a mature wine.
