  Solid sangiovese, good balance, and enough there to compliment a hearty meal. Not as developed as i would like; will definitely benefit from more time on its side or a lengthy decant. Paired well with our homemade pizza night.
  
  Med ruby color; 30 min decant, tasted best after an hour when it mellowed out a bit.
  N: present but not overpowering, almost faint. Dark, rich black cherry, menthol/herb, mocha.
  Acid: Med++; Body: Med++; Alcohol 15.1%
  P: fruit on the front, red currant, tart cherry; mid-palate zippy, savory roasted tomato, balsamic, cured-meat; soft oak- mocha/clove? drying, sharp tannins; short/med-length finish.
