  • Method: pop and pour and over the course of the night; started around 53 degrees; white wine glass

Look: deep straw; many fast legs

    Nose: mango, lemongrass, mineral

Palate: lemongrass, grass, mineral, mango (starts off green, but after a decent amount of air and warming up turns to more of a classic ripe mango), ripe yellow peach, vanilla; long finish of white pepper and mineral; dry, but maybe just a bit of low- sweetness; medium body; high acidity; med- fine tannin or similar structure to give some nice texture, but it's not rough; no heat; similar to my experience with all/most Dragonette single vineyard SBs, it shows such purity

Overall thoughts: A really great, high quality wine. Wonderful balance, no heat, and such purity despite having some good body and nice structure. This wine is great at first right out of the bottle and opens up to reveal riper fruit and a smooth, almost buttery texture. This is a great wine on it's own, but it really shines with food. It's showing very well now, but I'll keep my one remaining bottle for some years just to see what happens.
