  Woodier than I prefer...but not particularly woody by Spanish wine standards. Dark, brooding, and gritty. It delivers considerable earth-driven substance. It begs for Serrano ham, assorted cheeses, and olives.

  Ripe red fruits, black pepper, dry earth and herbs on the nose. Palate is jammy fruit. Medium acidity.

  Ripe fruit, made in a rustic and traditional style. Juicy, expansive, gritty, and long. Excellent balance and structure. A pleasant surprise!
