  • Afternoon wine down at Maison Dakota. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted blind.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of green herbal stems, earth, floral violets and some peonies, dark red fruit. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of boysenberry, brambly dark red cherries, dark spiced stems, some smoky stones minerality. Long crunchy finish.
Very good quality. Masculine stem influenced Burg. Nice. Will develop well. Still young.
