dark black fruits. soft oak. pretty standard SA malbec. Montes entry level, not as refined as higher end. finish is dark berries and nutty spice with soft baking liquors.

Full nose with notes of fruit and spice. Flavor is exceptionally well balanced - smoky and sweet, tart and robust. Notes of round fruit, dried fig, currant and blackberry. Exceptionally good for an inexpensive wine - a true pleasure to drink.

Clear, deep ruby colour. Clean with lots of spice, black fruit, blackpepper, and spicy oak. Dry, round, well balanced palate with medium plus body, tannins and acidity. Black fruit and blackpepper dominate the velvety textured palate. Very well made wine, a great value. Good company with my grilled steak.

Starts out dark and brooding, but opens quickly. Lots of fruit; a nice, serious wine that explodes with steak. Very pleased with this one.
