A bit stewed. Well-enough made but uncharacterful, and lacking freshness. Once-dimensional somewhat short fruit. Could almost be a table wine. Nah. Not worth the entry ticket by a country mile.

3 years in barrique. Less than 30% new oak. Earthiness is the key here, a bit rustic on the palate, but still very suave texture. Probably gets kolbered in a line up of PN, but very nice all the same.

Aromas of earth, dark berry, light plum. Not partiularly light. Delicious.
