  Very happy with first bottle.
  It met all of my expectations: good fruit, freshness, a little rusticity.
  Easy drinking wine without pretensions. The World needs more of this.

  Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): Tasted at the winery. Aged six months in barrel. The nose is quite jammy - strawberry. On the palate though, it is not jammy at all, more juicy with red berries, acidity and a soft mouth feel. A nice inexpensive daily drinker.

  Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): Very easy and fruity and spicy and yet there's a hint more structure than the standard dolcetto. This is a wine that spends 6 months in old slovenian big oak barrels. Very fresh and easy and yet has character. Nice.
