Raveneau Flight (Angler Restaurant San Francisco): PNP. Served blind, my second favorite. Young nose, honey, wax, lemon and sea breeze. Deep palate, tight and closed but has a ton of lift and energy. Will be great in 15 years.

Burgundy and Barolo dinner - Krug, Raveneau, Giacosa, Monfortino, Mugnier and etc. (Capital Grille, Tysons, VA): Incredibly focused nose displaying yellow citrus with a hint of white, fresh lemon, lemon curd, pear, honey, honeysuckle, saline, white flower and strong limestone mineral. Excellent concentration, slightly coiled dense yellow fruit, rich and oily but also very precise and focused, bright acidity and strong mineral, and a long coiled yellow fruit driven finish with honeysuckle at the end. There is only a hint of the 18 ripeness and if I tasted blind, I may have guessed 2015. This is a classic Les Clos.
