First time trying 4 Winds Cab. Delicious! Loads of dark cherry and blackberry on the initial palate with spice and a touch of leather nuanced in after some time in the glass. Nice structure and balance. Finish was smooth and long. Classic Napa Cab.

Opaque, earthy notes, leather, dark chocolate, with tastes of black fruit, blackberry, blueberry, cherry cola, mocha, fig, black currant, and some oak. This is smooth, rich, and full-bodied, with nice acidity, full, round tannins on a long finish. Balanced, complex, opulent, very enjoyable. (this is the second bottle of this wine I’ve had, with very consistent notes)

Three hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Blackberry jam, cherry cola, plum, baking spice, unsalted saltine cracker, and subtle peony on the nose. Dry, subtly velvety palate, full of fruit and fudge (and good acidity). Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is a very good TRB made wine. It’s a touch restrained and a hint jammy, which is why the score isn’t even higher.

Two hour decant. Deep dark purplish magenta color. Blackberry, dark raspberry, Earl Grey tea, wildflowers, and macadamia-infused milk chocolate on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with tongue coating, crushed velvety acidity. Firm, full tannins on the nearly longish finish.
My wife thought this was 94 pts. More floral than she liked. Oh well…

Two hour decant. Deep dark hazy magenta color. Black Forest cake, blackberry, blueberry, and subtle prune on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with good, lingering acidity and nice toffee sneaks in at the end. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
