Steve & Jennie - Steaks, Mushroom Reduction, & CA Cabs (Lake Harriet Children's Palace - Minneapolis, MN): Steve opened this bottle and he mentioned that it seemed somewhat similar to a Chablis and he was right. Scents of green apple, pear, a hint of melon with a nuance (and I do mean a nuance) of oak. This wine had good texture, a backbone of acidity, and finish that provided class. For comparative purposes this would be similar to a modern producer of premiere cru Chablis.

Light straw color. Steely and flinty, showing tropical fruit/citrus notes in a mineral-driven frame. Long finish. Nice balance. A dead ringer for a 1er Cru Chablis.

Very good, would buy again. Went well with a Chicken Mirabella
