Drank over two days a classic Chianti and tremendous value at $17.99. Dried cherries, mild funk, wood, floral notes, iron, raspberries and leather. Medium finish and ample acidity. Drink now to 2026.

Characteristic aromas and flavors of dried cranberry, raspberry, crushed red flowers, iron and herbs. Oaky on the finish, but in a good way (probably settles down with age). Medium bodied with good balance. Tannins will help this go the distance, but drinking well at the moment. Enjoyed with pizza and a salad. Great value at your neighborhood warehouse store (they've really stepped up their game in the Italian varietals).

Day 1: Winebuyer.com amazing value. Iron, raspberries, mild funk, dried herbs and anise. Nice acidity and easy drinking but complex enough for any wine geek. More please. (Synthetic cork) 92 points Day 2: Excellent and some old world charm. Rustic with iron, raspberries, dried herbs, anise and floral notes. Really a great value and holding true. 92 points

Very enjoyable wine, especially with food. Improves after an hour or two. Bright acidity, med tannins and more complexity than most chiantis in this price range. Has the structure to last quite a few more years.

Could use more acidity in order to be more food-friendly. 14% ABV.
