We sipped at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong or as we call this stunning culinary destination - Joey’s Place. Slightly murky red on the eye. Fairly strong whiff of sous bois on opening. Mellowed out with soft over-ripe veggies. Exceedingly soft on the palate. A touch disappointing. No doubt a very good wine, but we had expectations of something great...sadly, we were not elated.

Nice balanced fruit and herbs. Full bodied and smooth. Less rounded fruit than last year.

Deep rich nose of dark fruit and some notes of development. Full bodied rich palate. Not the most elegant but very good.
