Bruised golden apples, peach, white pepper and a faint note of ginger. Leans more citrus on the palate with notes of toasty bread and pepper spice. Lean, easy drinker.

Aromas of green and Opal apples, toasted almond, date, dried apricot and clementine. The voluminous mousse pours large bubbles that land more delicately in the mouth, releasing green and Opal apples, lime curd, nectarine, slate, white pepper and unsweetened vanilla. Balanced, linear acid adds cut and extends the finish. This presentation of gruner offers more approachability than many still versions, but doesn’t skimp on complexity.

One of my favorite Washington sparkling wines. Paired great with Thanksgiving.
