  Dinner with Friends (R&R's): Double blind, poured from magnum. Light straw yellow color. Notes of dried peach, slate and pear, developing a petrol note as it warmed and breathed in the glass. Bright and minerally on the palate, with lovely detail and fruit. I guessed Alsatian riesling. A perfect match with the bisque. (J&J)

  Excellent wine that improved with air. Floral, petrol, moderate acidity, bone dry. Paired really well with corn soup.

  Poured into a chilling decanter: displays a bright, clear, medium gold color. Medium minus body, medium alcohol. Complex, pronounced aromas and rich flavors: citrus blossom; ripe peaches; zippy tangerine; tangy lime; and whipped cream; all underscored with saline, rocky slate, and wild herbs. Fresh acidity provides balance to the rich fruits and cream and supports a very long finish. Paired with Gouda cheese and whole grain crackers. Drink now or drink through 2032+.
