All minerals and grapefruit, both slices and rind. Enjoyable and a solid food wine (good acid structure) but it falls short of the expansive secondary and tertiary flavor profiles of higher rated Chardonnays. Good QPR via Garagiste (this particular bottle was imported by Free Run).

Pale gold color Medium plus aromas of yellow apple/ pineapple and fresh sage with delicious background of vanilla/ oak spices - very judicious with the oak Medium bodied with palate of sweet and tart yellow apples - creamy mouthfeel and little salty/ bitter on the finish Medium plus acidity with medium alcohol and rather lengthy finish due to the bitterness Drink now or hold 3-5 years

Hard to believe how fresh this wine is. No real secondary development. Very enjoyable but there seems no rush to drink this.
