  Med gold after just 5 yrs
  Smokey and yeasty nose, creme brulee, honey, Bosc pear, hint of earthy Brazil nut and mushroom - heady and plump
  Palate has excellent minerality yet - juicy creamed peaches, wet rocks, zesty and intense orchard apple and crunchy green pear. Mineral finish of chalky length

  This was a complete shock as though Javillier is a great producer I have not always been a fan of his Bourgogne Blanc. From the word go and when too cold I was amazed how much concentration there was. Super acidity and great balance. Kept going and beautiful from first taste to last. A real eye opener. terrific.

  this was quite closed and a little out of balance - better the second day - it may improve with a bit more time

  Honey, butter, and slight citrus on the nose. Big bodied with apple, honey, and a slight sweetness on the palate. Finishes dry with nice acidity that cuts the slight sweetness.
