Nice ruby red with medium optical density and medium plus specular reflectivity. Aromas of confected plum and tart raspberry over an earthy, spicy lifted background. Some vegetal notes and quince come across. On the palate, medium light in body with fresh acidity and a medium intensity of broad-grained tannins. Overall, texture is juicy but rustic. Flavours of red fruits and earthy spices and a green note on the attack, with a midpalate of spices and dusty earth. Finishes short, with light leather and a bitter twist. Overall, light intensity and not much depth.
This is everyday table wine, pretty much commercial quality. Nothing much to think about here, but drinkable and enjoyable for a great price.

Bright purple with slow legs. Nose of toasted oak, cassis and blackberry. Plum, black tea and stoniness on the palate. Long leathery finish. Excellent QPR.

A little earth on the palate, but a bit thin and austere. Classic noe
