Pepper with slight tobacco and leather right out of the bottle without rest as aroma. Evolves to blueberry and dark Cherry mixed with the aforementioned taste of pepper, slight tobacco and leather. Tannins we’re present but complementary, giving more linger to the finish. Has aging potential of least 2-4 years easily. I will pick up another bottle if I see it.

Solid value here. Well balanced wine, with dark cherry/pomegranate fruit mid palate, with reasonable structure at the end (more acid than tannins). Went down very nicely, which often doesn't happen at this price point.

Impressed. Best expression of 19th Century Bordeaux that I've had to date. Unfortunately not saying too much, but suffice it to say I'm impressed given the price point!

Easy drinking. Mid-palate was medium bodied with blue fruit. Finish had mild-moderate acid, which settled down reasonably quickly with some air. tannins on the finish were minimal. Very simple, but so was the price, AND it did not taste processed like the similarly priced Napa Cab I had a coupe of days ago. Would buy again.
