Pure Spirits 1st grand tasting (George Lycabetus Hotel): The wine shows more depth and complexity than Landions, ripe black fruit. Palate showing the same flavor profile, tannins, a bit spicy, a bit oaky, very smooth, fresh, silky, medium finish It has more fruit and fragrance, closer to a South African probably or Oregon rather than a New Zealand one

Domaine des Landions Tasting (Feedel Restaurant): Served from a magnum. Cold and rainy vintage The wine spent 21 months in 100% new oak The wine shows great density, very ripe dark fruit, there is a deep floral note. In the palate, the wine shows richness, fresh red and black fruit, balanced, mineral, medium acidity, light to medium body, a light spicy flavoured medium finish. Give it some time in the glass. This one will probably be better with a bit more cold weather. Outstanding quality.

Pure Spirits Portfolio Tasting (Balcony Restaurant & Bar): The wine shows a lot of bitter almond notes, spicy, oaky, nutty, with the red fruit sitting in the back, the palate is dominated again by spices, ripe red cherry, currant, feels better in the palate, more balanced, medium acidity, body and finish
