My first bottle of this top class Baden SB bottling, "SJ" means selection Johner, an "Estate GG", no member of the VDP, but always among the very best from Germany with their Burgundy grapes and here SB bottlings! I do not know if there are more and older vintages of this available, intense fresh grassy nose, white and green fruit aromas, persistent mouthfeel, really fresh and elegant, even though this bottling has a quite high ABV (13,5%), but the palate shows some gooseberry, fresh moved hay, all the way elegant, great green fruit expression, clean, lingering finish with supporting acid, **(*-****), 91,92 potential
