  • Drank at a little wine bar in the Paddington area of London. It started very shy, stiff and tannic. Over the bottle it opened up and showed more red fruits, raspberry and rounded flavours. It is well named: the oak stands out, but in a good way. Not sure how long this wine needs to evolve, but I would not hesitate to drink it early with a good (1-2 hr) decant.
