  Much better than I expected. Pretty pinot aromas of cherry and blood orange. Accented by spice, grass, and potting soil. Quite citrusy on the palate, which I find distinctive. An interesting mineral finish. Too thin, but the expressiveness compensates.

  Took two days to come into its own. The tannins smoothed out and it has cedar and red licorice on the nose. A bit spicy and went well with duck.

  Young, toasty, and layered with cherries, strawberries, fruit punch, and sweet spices. The oak is there but it's balanced by a good cut and a nice mouthfeel. Tasty.
