  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of medium lemon colour, with wide watery rims and legs.
    Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of grapefruit, green fruit of pear, tropical fruit of lychee, floral notes of rose, mineral notes of stony, maturity notes of honey, sweet spice of ginger. The wine is developing.
    Palate: Off-dry with medium (+) acidity, the wine has medium alcohol and full body, with medium (+) intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of pear, tropical fruit of lychee, mineral notes of ginger, mineral notes of saline and stony, maturity notes of honey. The wine has a medium (+) finish.
    Conclusion: Very good quality Alsace Gewurztraminer with an intense nose showing good complexity, with plenty of lychee and rose, along with citrus and pear, mineral, ginger and honey. The palate is well-structured, robust and slightly sweet, having good concentration in flavours and a fairly long finish. It is ready to drink now and can maintain for another 3-5 years.
