Head Wines Zoom tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of concentrated black fruits, black pepper, coffee espresso, tar. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.6-13.8%), fine but grippy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour, with flavours of concentrated tar, coffee espresso, mocha, chocolate, black plums, blackberries, dark olives, black pepper spice. Very long sweet finish. Very good quality. Somewhat like a good hybrid cross between Barossa Shiraz and Northern Rhone Syrah. Great fruit concentration yet remains on the gentler side of things. The word is probably Balance. Ageable - 8-10 years.
