Decanted 3 hrs. Very dense, blackish red, paling edge. Large bq w plenty of dark fruit (blackberries, plums), nicely integrated oak, some minerality. Fine grained tannins, good acidity, very forward fruit. Nice, balanced aftertaste w a touch of alcohol. For perfection, wait a couple of years.

Took it to a picknick concert and that was a mistake because it needed air. 2-3 hour in the decanter would probably do the trick. Now it was a lot of swirling. But a great wine if treated right. 91 for us. With the decanting it would probably reach 1 or 2 point higher.

Clear ruby with significant body. Nose of dark red fruits and some blackberries. Secondary nose of forest floor, attic dust, thyme Andy some floral notes. The palate is medium high acidity (quite juicy) atop dark fruits but also with acidic fruits (think orange and raspberry) surrounding the dark fruit core. Layered with a long finish.

Met the wine maker in Las Vegas. Lots of vanilla initially along with adequate amounts of fruit. Lacking in the mid -palate, however. Left me wanting. Perhaps needs more time
